Pest Control/How to get rid of powderpost beetles

Question
Hi Rich--
I believe we are infested with powderpost beetles. I notice some fine pin size holes with fine wood dust surrounding these holes. Also found a little critter about one eighth inch long. My floors are oak. Heard that there is a product called Bora- Care, but the cost per container seems kind of steep.
Have you had any experience with powderpost beetles? Would appreciate your expertise on this subject.   Take care    Fred

Answer
pOWDER POST BEETLES ARE ACTIVE THEN INACTIVE THEY ARE HARD TO PREDICT WHEN ACTIVE ! KEEP THE AREA AS DRY AS POSSIBLE !

BORA CARE IS THE BEST TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM PERIOD WE HAVE HAD GREAT SUCCESS WITH IT !

ITS A FIFTY FIFTY MIXTURE HALF WARM WATER AND MIX IN THE GALLON OF BORA CARE

PESTICIDES WILL NOT SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM !
