Question
there is a family of racoons in my crawl space in the bathroom  what can you do  to take them out

Answer
Trapping is really your only option besides poison if they are in the house.

Trapping is relatively easy.  I recommend purchasing a commercial trap sized for raccoons.  Havahart makes a very reliable one which can be purchased at most garden centers. Bait the trap with carrots, lettuce, and peanut butter.  Once caught, you’ll need to relocate the animal to a location at least one mile away.  Traps can be highly effective, but it will be a constant effort.

You can also contact your local animal rescue league or government office. Most have agencies responsible for pest control. They can at least come in and access the situation and advise you of your options.

I hope this information helps. Good luck, and please write again if I can ever be of assistance.

Regards,

Mike
