This is the second time in a year I've seen these things crawling around the baseboards on the bathroom floor a few at a time ( Tampa area )
Big question is whether they are termites??

Thanks,
Dan

Answer
Dan,

There's no indication of size in the images but these look more like ants than termites, particularly the image of the single individual. See http://www.livingwithbugs.com/termite.html for drawings of the various stages of termites. Also, you don't normally find termites outside the colony except during mating flights, which again points to ants.
