i definately caught a MOLE in our house, we used large rat size glue traps bought at our local hardware store. It was a mole because it had no eyes and a pointed snout!

I just want add to the post about moles, I just caught a mole in my house in a rat trap with cheese for bait .

first whoever said you didn't have moles is ignorant. Moles can and do enter homes and do come out for food at night. They will eat anything including nibbling on dog food. Although they prefer to be underground many many older homes in particular can and do experience mole problems. Typical mouse traps do work with peanut butter and I have often caught them that way. Its not uncommon to have moles and mice both in a home
