Question I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to help others. I have been reading the comments people leave for you and it still floors me that some people have the nerve to say you are less than anything but a 10! You know more than most vets and any other so called rat expert on the net and you give your time on a daily basis to answer people that want to know about rats. Its pretty easy they can do a search on their own but its easier to ask you yet they still give you less than you deserve. I think your the best. Keep up the good work. I have learned so much from you and my vet also reads your messages and has said he has learned alot from you too.
Answer Hi "loyal reader"
Thanks for your kind words. I enjoy helping people when it comes to rats and when I have free time, I spend it here. There are days when I dont get right back to people and it takes 24 hours or so, but today I just so happen to be sitting here when questions are coming in.
As for your vet reading my answers, I am also glad I can help. I help area vets as well that are not real familiar with rat care and it is very rewarding. As for getting less than "10s" for rankings, thats no big deal to me and never has been. Usually I shut the ratings off because I am not in it to be "volunteer of the month" or to get perfect tens! I do the best I can and if something is less than satisfied with my response, what can I say? Its impossible to be SPOT ON with any diagnosis over the internet without seeing the animal and if people feel that I should know 100 percent what is wrong without seeing the animal in person, they are delusional. I would never trust anyone 100 percent that has not held and touched my rat in person anyhow and do not expect anyone to feel that way about me, either. I do appreciate your support, though! Thank you!
