Question My rat is about five moths old first she didn't start drawing blood but now she is!!!!!!!! You told me I should get another rat to make her more comfterble. How long will it take for that to work if she keeps biting I have to return her but I only have a week left to find a rat and her to get used to a new rat and me!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you recomend anywhere where I should get a female rat in the Bay Area? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Answer Where did you get this rat from? It generally takes a while for a rat to get used to you over a week at least. Do you wash your hands and make sure you have no smells on your hands? I used to work at PetSmart and I never had a rat bite me. I would call around and see although I have no idea what stores you have in the Bay Area that carry rats.
