Question Dear Sir,
Can you suggest me what is most acceptable date format or most suited date format in Industry
Regards
Atul K. Soni
Answer Most of the industry uses the ISO Standard date format. This is YYYY-MMM-DD. So today's date July 10, would be written as 2008-JUL-10. (note that the month is always spelled with the first three letters of the month - not figures)
This is different from the US style of MM/DD/YY (7/10/08), or the European Style of DD/MM/YY (10/7/08), which some companies use.
The GMP regulations do not care what system you use, as long as you have an SOP that describes your date recording system, and that it is included in your basic GMP training for all staff.
