Question actually i m here at onsite and i have tab of erythromycin of government supply of mfg date of august 2007 but expired date is missed so unfortunately i eaten that and i want to know the expired date and its side effect.
Answer Dear Dr Perna, expiry date depends on salt active ingredient used, type of tablet and manufacturer. In this case its usually around 1 year. So you have most probably taken expired tablet. There is no side effect, but the potency of the compound is decreased after expiry date. So you should take fresh tablet now.
