Pharmaceuticals/Retest period

Question
How are you?

We have active material manufacture date is 3\2013 and expiry date is 3\2016 .
we store it in a good storage condition in our warehouse .
my question if we need to retest it every 6 month until 3\2016 or only test it at the date of purchase.
Why ?? and how we can determine retest period ?

Answer
Abed:

If the manufacturer's retest date is based on scientifically established studies - why do you retest the material every six months? There is no logic. Better to perform all specification testing on incoming inspection; and then the retest date arrives, say goodbye to the raw material.

I hope this helps.
