Question It appears that no form of Zolpidem is available in Canada. I am wondering if there are any "special circumstances" or "loop holes" when a doctor in Canada can apply to a governing agency and receive permission on a case by case basis to perscribe a specific medication that is not typically allowed? I believe the patent for Ambien has been extended until 04/07 but that at that time Biovail can begin production and marketing of their ODT version of it, but I don't know if that will be available in Canada anyway?. I have reason to need this specific drug in Canada. Can you give me any suggestions of how to legally go about getting it. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and respond to my question(s).
Answer Canada is not the only source of "good" medication available on the Internet. You can also try Israel, where I obtain my medication from. Check out MaganDavidMeds at http://www.magendavidmeds.com/ - prices are cheaper than Canada; and delivery is just as fast.
