The answer states that "Valium and other drugs like that" are "less physically addictive" than Zoloft. Such drugs are known as benzodiazepines, a class that includes Valium, Xanax, Klonopin, Rivotril, Dalmane, Rohypnol, Restoril and others. The idea that there's not much danger of physical addiction is frighteningly naive, especially as it comes from a "pharmacy technician" who should know better. Google "benzodiazepine withdrawal" and you will find more information. I speak as someone with personal experience of the danger of physical dependency on benzodiazepines. They should never be taken for more than short-term use... and yet doctors prescribe them for long periods, years--- even decades. For perhaps 30% to 45% of users, they are harder to get off of than heroin, cocaine, etc. Please research these drugs if you are considering taking them.
