Question
are there any differences between generic and brand name drugs?  To be more specific:  lamictal vs. lamotrigine, adderall xr vs. d-amphetamine. any info you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Answer
To sell a generic drug, the manufacturer needs to prove to the FDA that the generic is bioequivalent and shows bioavailability to the originator.

i work extensively with generic drug makers, and there products are totally equivalent to the originator.
