Question Can you tell me the difference between injectible saline and saline used to treat nasal dryness or contact lenses?
I am on a message board where people inject saline into their acne scars to raise them (and have great results actually) but people are giving different answers as to what kind of saline they are using and i wondered if there was a difference,
Answer Injectable saline is sterile, while nasal or other saline is not.
The danger you have of injecting non-sterile saline is of causing very serious (potentially life threatening) bacterial infection under your skin.
