Question What is the difference between Lorazepam and oxazepam??

Answer Yona-
Both are benzodiazepines use for anxiety or to help facilitate sleep. The main difference between the two is that lorazepam (Ativan) has a longer half-life that oxazepam (Serax). This means it takes longer for a dose of the drug to reach undetectable levels in your blood. Oxazepam also takes a little longer to achieve its desired effect than lorazepam.
But as far as what they are used for, the indications are the same.
