Question I have been told to avoid Vitamin c supplementation as I take low-dose Vytorin. Is this tru, and if so, why? I have skipped my vitamin c for a year now, but began to have some gum bleeding, and would like to re-start it.
Answer I use www.drugs.com to check for interactions and there were no documented interactions between Vytorin and vitamin C. Not sure if you were told this by your MD or pharmacist but there is no problem using the two together.
If that were true, you would have to avoid almost all citrus products which is not reasonable.
