Question I just had mouth surgery yesterday. I stopped my adderall xr 20 mg on the day of the surgery, but was wondering if I could start it back today. I did take one hyrdorco/Apap 5-500 this morning. Is it okay to take both medications at the same time?
Answer There are no documented drug interactions between Adderall XR and hydrocodone/APAP. It is possible that taking the 2 drugs together may alter the drowsiness from the hydrocodone. I would be careful about driving or doing any activities which require mental clarity while taking the hydrocodone/APAP.
