Question
Is it okay to take Omega-3 & Phytosterol dietary supplement(softgels) that expired Sept 2006?

Answer
  Hi,Dawn!
I don't usually recommend taking anything that is over a year old, especially in a softgel form. They tend to either absorb moisture if stored in a bathroom or kitchen or dry out if in a dry area. If you still want to use them up, make sure they don't have an off smell or color and are not clumped together. They will not have 100% potency-maybe about 50% now. Hope this helps, Mary
