Question My granddaughter has been on prevacid Solutab 15mg at night and 7.5 in the morning. She has been on the 15mg since she was 3 months old and was upped to another 7.5 a month ago. She is 13 months old now. Her mother and I are concerned about side effects. Can you give me info on this? She seems so hyper recently and cranky. Thank you.

Hyperactivity is not one of known adverse effects associated with Prevacid. However, a 15 month old is not able to express herself well enough yet to say what is bothering her. I recommend a re-evaluation of condition and medication.
