Expert: Eric Brandt Date: 1/22/2008 Subject: Parole drug testing
Question I am on parole. I, stupidly, smoked pot a couple weeks ago. Last week I was called for a drug test. I bought some cleansing agent (Detoxify Brand) and failed the test. My probation officer let me go because my levels were so low (so I guess the stuff "almost" worked). He said it would be sent to a lab for a work up. I'm thinking they're gonna check it against my initial test from when I was released into probation back in Dec. 07. It has been six days since the test and I'm freaking out.
Will they know I used a cleansing agent? How might the levels compare? Please help. I'm on probation for driving on a suspended license.
Answer Hi James,
I do not think they can tell you used a cleansing agent. They will compare against the original level and be able to tell where your level should be now compared to where it actually is and arrive at their conclusion.
Keep clean for your health and safety and for the safety of others on the road.
Thank you for using Allexperts
Sincerely,
Eric Brandt, B.Sc. Pharm
