Question I have pain from spinal stenosis and arthritis. All the medications I take seem to promote bleeding, and I am prone to nosebleeds. Is there something I can take that serves as an antiflamatory-pain medication that will not cause bleeding?
Answer Hi,Norma!
Acetaminophen is recommended for arthritis because it is an antiinflammatory drug that doesn't promote bleeding. Another pain med you could try is Ultram. It will not reduce inflammation but it is an effective for pain.
Hope this helps, Mary
