Question Hi I have been taking levothyroxine(90 mg) for more than a year now but still want to lose a little bit of weight. Is it safe to take Hydroxycut with this medication or do you suggest an alternative that can be taken with levothyroxine.
Answer Hi Ric,
There are several formulations of Hydroxycut. Make sure the one you take does not contain ephedra. I am not a big fan of using thyroid hormone as a weight loss measure. Thyroid supplement and Hydroxyxcut do not teach you an improved lifestyle and eating habits. Diet and exercise are the best measures for weight loss and improved health outcome.
