Question Hi
Do you have any reccomendations for a low libido? I have a very attractive girlfriend but im under a ton of stress and i feel like my libido has totally disappeared. Im only 32 and i have a tiny bit of a heart condition. Im a worrying type of person so im sure that has partly to do with it. I used to have a really high sex drive. Any recommendations for herbal medicines i could use or testosterone to increase my libido and what are their effects? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Manny
Answer Anything you could possibly use would require a complete medical check up and to be prescribed by a doctor who knows your complete medical history. Before any physician will prescribe testosterone blood levels must be drawn to make sure it is appropriate. When testosterone is administered in patients who do not need it they only suffer from side effects such as mood swings, weight gain, unusual hair growth, and other long term problems. Since you have a history of heart disease you must be very careful before taking anything even herbal medications. Herbal medications in the U.S. are not regulated. That means they can be sold "as is". They can make any claim they choose to make without any documentation to back up what they say. It is really in your best interests to see your doctor and discuss your concerns with him/her.
