Subject: elidel and protopic
Question I am ill.my illness is LĘKEN PLANUS.my doctor said to me,ę can use elidel or protopic for my illness.is it suitable?Should ę use either of them for LĘKEN PLANUS."
Answer Hi Secil,
Lichen planus is a chronic condition of unknown origin mostly. It can occur as a reaction to some medications. Are you taking any other medications?
If not, the usual initial treatment is corticosteroids. What have you tried so far?
Elidel and protopic should be used once the other treatments have been tried and have shown to be ineffective.
Thank you for using Allexperts
Sincerely,
Eric Brandt, B.Sc. Pharm
