Subject: vicodin during pregnancy
Question
i have been taking vicodin ver minimally throughtout my pregnancy. I take 1 -2 vics a day. i am now 35 weeks pregnant and i am concerned about the withdrawals on the fetus, if any. please inform me of what i should do, and if i stop now, will it be out of my system in time before delivery.I havne told anyone, even my dr. i am very scared. my babies health seems fine so far, im just very concerned with afterwards. thanx!

Hi Nicle,
Stop Vicodin now. BY the the time you deliver hopefully it is out of your system. Nevertheless you must tell the doctors about having taken it during your pregnancy so they can monitor for any adverse effects.
