Question
My mother took her darvocet and lotrel together and afterwards she felt weak and dizzy. Can darvocet and lotrel make you dizzy and weak, if taking them together/same time?

Answer
Dear Teresa

All of these drugs (Lotrel is a combination of two drugs)can cause the symptoms you describe but probably mainly the Lotrel. These symptoms should disappear with time as your mother becomes accustomed to them. Perhaps if she lies down after taking the Lotrel for about half an hour this may obviate these effects.
