Few months back, on recurrence, he gave me levofloxacin 750 per day for 10 days. Recently my colleague was telling me one antibiotic cefixime 400 OD more powerful than rest. Sir which is a reasonably good antibiotic for such situation.

All the three antibiotics are good for cough cold and fever. By and large for an uncomplicated case any of the three cold be taken, just look into the cost and the side effects and which ever suits you best that is what you should take.
