Question How long can clindamycin be taken. five days or seven?thank you
Answer Hi Liz,
It depends on which way you are taking it, oral, injectable or topical. For topical it can be used for months. Injectable and oral drug should not be taken for more than seven days. Generally the duration is 5 days but if the infection is not completely eradicated then it can be continued for seven days, but not longer.
