Question I know that darvocet is structurally related to methadone,and has a metabolite that is alike or similar to methadone.I need to know if Darvocet can possibly show up as Methadone on a drug test?
Answer Hi Heather,
Darvocet contain propoxyphene, whcih though chemically related is not the same as methadone. Some tests include propoxyhene while others do not. In a good quality test these drugs will not be confused for each other. If the test is bad or done badly no one can tell.
