Question hi just wondering why do maufacturers have suger free medications for kids? where infact instead of suger they put artificial sweeterners which is even more worse....
why doesen't no-1 do anthing about this?
Answer Hi Khalid,
I am aware of a number of sugar free medications for kids, but the reasons are different. Mostly it is to avoid interaction of the drug with the sugar, which forces them to use non sugar based sweeteners. There are also better tasting syrups available now which do not contain regular sugar, these are more acceptable to kids.
