Subject: How to mask the taste of medication

Question
I'm taking metronidazole. How can I mask the taste of this bitter, metallic tasting drug?  More importantly, where can I go to find some home remedies to mask the taste of medications for me or my kids?

Answer
Hi Clyde,
The problem of metronidazole is two fold. Firstly the drug has a bitter taste and hence takng it becomes difficult. Secondly the drug gets secreted in asliva and hence masking the taste by adding a good tasting syrup does not help in the later phase. I am afrad you have to put up with it.
