Question
QUESTION: Have been prescribed subutex to detox.  Am experiencing SEVERE VOMITING, that wont stop cant even keep water down more than 2 minutes. SEVERE VOMITING. Am I allergic?

ANSWER: Hi Kenneth,
You are not allergic to the medication. You are experiencing a side effect to the drug. You need to tell your doctor about this. Sometimes this side effect can be countered with over the counter medication for travel sickness such as dimenhydrinate. But the combination can cause drowsiness. Consult with your doctor.

QUESTION: Was given zofran and phengran. Both cause me to vomit immediately.  My kidneys and liver are very sore, and am concerned bcuz water doesnt process at all, that they will fail.  Maybe going to the E.R.?

Answer
Hi Kennet,
You  need to go to emergency. You need to be checked out that you are not dehydrated from vomiting. Zofran and phenergan are avilable there by injection and this may help get a handle on your nausea.
