Question
Thought I probably have an infection and can I take cough medicine with codiene with a batrim to maybe attack the infection?

Answer
If you think you have an infection you should be evaluated by your doctor to see if he/she thinks antibiotics are necessary.  If the infection is bacterial your doctor will prescribe the proper antibiotic, if the infection is viral, antibiotics will not help.  The cough medicine with codeine may help suppress the cough and treat the symptoms, but not treat the infection.  I would recommend that you see your doctor before you treat yourself with antibiotics.

Thanks
