Question i'm currently taking a coumidin(sorry for the spelling(a blood thinner))10 mgs a day and i recently visit the denisit who said i have a infection in my gums and gave a presciption for amoxicillian 500 mg every 6 hours until finish (30 tablets)he is aware of the coumidin i'm taking and said iy was fine. is there asprin in amoxicillian and is this to much medication? thanks

Coumadin and amoxycillin are very different chemically and pharmacologically. While one prevents clotting of blood, the other is an antibiotic. There is no interaction between them and you may use them together very safely. But it is good that you have informed your doctor of your use of coumadin and he is right in prescribng you amoxycillin.
