Question Dear Dr!
This morning a suitcase fell on my head and hit very hard. The good part was that it didn't bleed. But I am experiencing a very bad pain in my head. I discovered two days ago that I am pregnant say about 5 weeks. Being in the first trimester I don't know which pain killer to take. Please advise any. Thanks
Answer Hi Aisha,
Ouch! That sounds painful. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Since you are in the first trimester, the only thing you can really take is plain Tylenol. The first three months are crucial to your baby's development so you should always use caution when taking any over the counter and prescription products.
If the pain gets worse, you may need to see a Dr. to make sure you don't have anything else going on.
Take care and I wish you and your new baby the best!!
