Question I am taking a Zpack for my kidney infection. Will this antibiotic do the job.

Answer Hi Karen,
It depends. Most likely not but if your Dr. did a culture he or she should know which antibiotic to use. The most commonly used are Septra or Macrobid although there are several others that do the job.
If you are still having symptoms after 2 days or so then you most likely need another type of antibiotic.
