Question I tested positive for THC I do not smoke marijuana I was on paxil cr 20mg 4 month ago when i tested slightly positive, I am now on 37.5mg and tested very high its got to be the paxil can you solve this mystery for me its really stressing me out?
Answer Dear Mary
Paxil should not cause a false positive for THC. False positives seem to be relatively common. You should keep a blood/urine sample each time for reanalysis, and if this occurs again get it to another analytical laboratory. In the meantime you should ask for a retest.
