Question i took the 9th pill. i have missed the next 2 pill and i am really confused as to what to do and if i am at risk of being pregnant. i dont understand what the leaflet says when you miss then one pill. it says you should the most recent late pill and then take the rest of the pills as normal, but what about the other pill i missed?
Answer Microgynon's packaging states that you are protected from pregnancy as long as you miss no more than 2 pills in a cycle pack. You should take two pills as soon as you realize you have missed, but will not need to make up the second missed pill if you missed both missed pills at the same time. While not required you may feel more assured that you will not become pregnant if you use an additional form of birth control for the remainder of this package of pills. If not becoming pregnant at this time is important to you I would advise that you use an additional form of birth control for the remainder of this cycle pack for your own peace of mind.
