Question hi my daughter was just sent back to jail from rehab for testing false/positive for PCP in a urine test. she said that she has not had any thing other than her prescribed medications. can any of these cause a false/positive for PCP or anything else? she is taking the following medications. Vistaril for anxiety,Celexa for depression, Mobic and Tylenol for her arthritis.

Many people are suffering the way you and your daughter are. Non violent eople being locked up on the basis of drug tests which may or may not be accurate. I suggest you form a self help group. One person who wishes to work in this area is Susan Brown <rickiesue333@yahoo.com>. She is also a victim of false positive reactions.
None of the medicines your daughter is taking can make her positve for PCP. The tests are wrong if your daughter is telling the truth. That is simple, either the tests or your daughter has to be wrong. Both cannot be right. I have many such letters and I tell them to start a self help group, please tak to Susan, may be you can jointly fight it out.
