Pharmacy - prescription water pills/safe

Question
Is there a safe prescribed water pill i can ask my doctor about for occasional water retention?

Answer
There are many prescription water pills that are safe and effective for occasional water retention.  What I can not tell you is if they are appropriate for you.  I would recommend that you make an appointment to talk to your doctor about your health concerns.  Your doctor will know what is the most appropriate choice of water pill, if any, for you knowing your specific and complete medical history.

Thanks
