Expert: Eric Brandt - 11/6/2009
Question I have 2 prescriptions. One for Tramadol HCL 50 mg. (take 2) and one for Tramadol/APAP 37.5 mg/325 mg. tabs. Both written by the same doctor. They look different. Can you tell me what the difference is in the two of these?
Answer Hi Rhonda,
Tramadaol/APAP contains tramadol 37.5 mg and acetaminophen wheras the first drug Tramadol HCL 50 mg contains only tramadol but 50 mg ersus 37.5 mg that is in the combination drug.
Thank you for using Allexperts
