first i would like 2 ask,wat is bactin ointment and the purpose of it an then the other question the headline of my subject

Hi Emanuel,
By cold sore we generally mean HSV1 infection. If this is what you mean, then my information is pertinent for you.
Presently there is no treatment for this condition. However Penciclovir is FDA approved for this indication. So is Acyclovir. Please try these, they are available in cream form. I have not come across any product called bactin. Please clarify or correct the same.
