Question
is it possible to say that in a healthy person who drinks a lot of water that tramadol would be detected in the urine for only 2-4 days following a single 300 mg dose if they were to specifically screen for it?

Answer
Dear Kevin

Tramadol can be detected up to five days after administration in persons who metabolise it slowly, three days in most people. Drinking lots of water will not affect this at all. Since it is not commonly abused, therefore is mainly used for clinical pain relief I doubt that many persons are interseted in urine levels anyway.
