Question Is coffee creamer that contains sodium caseinate (a milk derivative) okay to use when taking an antibiotic that specifies no dairy products?
Answer No, you should not use coffee creamer containing sodium caseinate within 2 hours before or after taking an antibiotic which specifies no dairy products. Sodium caseinate is a soluble form of calcium which can bind to the antibiotic and keep it from being absorbed, in most cases.
