Prior to my pharmacy training I have 3 years hospital experience as a Nurse`s Aide.
Question is it ok to drink alcohol while taking this antibiotic
Answer There is no specific drug interaction between Amoxicillin clavulanate potassium and alcohol. It is just generally recommended that if you are sick enough or have a severe enough infection to require treatment with an antibiotic it may not be in your best interests to drink alcohol until your infection has resolved.
