Question
Is it ok to take zocor in the morning, as opposed to at bedtime per bottles instructions.

Hi Kathy,
A study I read in the British Medical Journal indicated that Zocor should be taken in the evening and not in the morning because cholesterol level are higher in the morning. Taking the drug in the evening would prevent the high morning level. It would seem that we make cholesterol later in the day.
