Question My doctor prescribed 80mg Micardis which were too strong.
I am to cut them in half and take 40mg
When i cut them in half, the next day the other half is very sticky after being kept in a pill container.
Is it still safe to take or should I store it elsewhere.
Answer Hi Shirley,
Micardis tablets are very sensitive to moisture. If you must cut them in half then keep the half pill remaining in a moisture proof container in a bedroom not in a bathroom medicine chest.
Thank you for using Allexperts
Sincerely,
Eric Brandt, B.Sc. Pharm
