Question is it possible to develop mental confusion is a side effect to fertility treatment? my girlfriend was on chlomifene and had a 36 hour episode where she did not recognise people well, was paranoid, said outrageous things, was anxious and confused.
Answer Hi Marie,
Treatment with clomiphene can cause blurring of vision and psychosis among other side effects. I am not aware of it causing confusion in the way you describe it other than perhaps the paranoia being part of possible psychosis it has been reported to cause.
