Question QUESTION: at the moment i am on a large amount of medicine
i take singular and extendral jr, for allergies...along with Nasacort, an
albuterol inhaler and advar.
i also am taking adderal for adhd
i recently came off prednisone for a breathing issue. and as soon as i did
poison ivy flaired up on my face and chest.
i was put back on prednisone, as well as the adderol, which i only started
taking monday..no i never mixed it with prednisone.
sooo my skin is really itchy and irritated even after i have taken the
prednisone....am i also able to apply triamcinolone acetonide cream to my
skin. or is that mixing to many steriods with the adderol and prednisone

am i allowed to use the steroid cream as well as adderal and prednisone...as a
third steriod
Answer Hi Marissa,
You should not need the steroid cream if you are taking prednisone. The oral prednisone is much more potent and should clear up the skin rash that the steroid cream would otherwise be used for.
