The 1966 PDR arrived. I found the now missing Riker company. The '66 PDR lists 10 pills made by Riker. My round 3 layered pill is yellow, white, and green. Not yellow, white, and a light blue as I originally reported.
The pill is called Norgesic. It is composed of Orphenadrine citrate (25 mg), aspirin (225 mg), Phenacetin (160 mg), and caffeine (30 mg). It was prescribed for moderate pain associated with sprains, fractures osteoarthritis among others aliments.
I will keep digging as I have no idea what Orphenadrine citrate or Phenacetin is. Can you give me an idea? Is Orphenadrine citrate and Phenacetin still sold, or has some study said it makes people grow a third eye in the middle of one's forehead? The PDR says it is a non narcotic.
This PDR has one other pill that is three layers (colors). It was made by Wyeth and was called Equagesic. It was white, yellow, and pink. It contains meprobamate, ethoheptazine and aspirin. Now you can win the trivia game with your pharmacy friends if this ever comes up!

Here in Canada Norflrx is still distributed by a company called 3M. It is a two layered tablet. Orphenadrin is a muscle relaxant. Phenacetin reduces fever and is also a pain killer.
Meprobamate is an antianxiety medication. Ethoheptazine is an opioid pain killer similar to Demerol.
