Amoxiccilin contains plain amoxicillin, while Amox Tr-K Cl is amoxicillin plus clavulanic acid. Clavulanic acid protects amoxicillin from baterial degradation making it more effective. Amoxicillin is used generally for simple infections while amox trk-cl is used for more serious and resistant infections.
